I love the totoros. It let my childish fantasies come to life and made my imagination run wild. The characters are cute and cuddly. I can't remember one movie that left me feeling this great. It even gave me hope for humanity. There is love in this world and the world will conspire to make your dreams come true. Innocence is rewarded and naivete is not looked down on.
I came across this paper while wondering why it left a big impact on me. I guess it's not too surprising.
