Out of all the movies that Pixar has made, the one that stuck with me and stood the test of time is Wall-E. Even now, from time to time, some scenes from the movie come to mind. I was enthralled by how the animators dreamt up the desolate wasteland of the future. They captured the daily activities of Wall-E in a way that it draws parallel to some of our 9-5 lives. The space travelling, media consuming people of that future is also comparable to ours. Except that there's no space flight. It felt like the movie was able to portray authenticity and the emotions expressed seemed real. Wall-E develops into this cuddly pet that anyone would love to have, only that he take a shower first. It goes to show that even when there are modern, sleeker things in life like the lady robot, it is their personality that makes them attractive and not how cool or modern they look. It was nice of Pixar to do this movie. If anyone has not yet seen it, I would highly recommend giving it a shot.
