This movie, for me, is just ridiculous.
The premise is-- a guy puts on a clown costume for his kid's birthday party, and the next day he finds that he can't take off the costume, the nose, the suit, everything.
And it turns out the guy, and I shit you not, is getting possessed by some evil Clown demon and is slowly turning into the clown itself. Yup, he's skin, hair, nose, everything is literally turning into a clown costume. It's like turning into a werewolf, but you're a clown. Let that sink in.
Honestly, I can deal with it's weird premise, but just the fact that this movie takes itself to seriously. The tone, the music, the script, all of it is just too serious for a plot that is really goofy.
Though the gore, and effects are pretty on point. And they did think the story through, despite it's weird premise. (I really think it has a weird plot)
The concept of someone turning slowly into a monster is really interesting. Just wished the guy wasn't turning into a clown. It would be really awesome to see a normal guy turn into some kind of Jason Voorhees character. Slowly changing his thoughts and his actions. That would be cool.
Also, the guy kills kids and eats them. Yeah.
But not everybody's FDR. So post away
