So the trailer just recently dropped and suffice to say, it gave me the chills.
Right off the bat, we see the end-credits scene from Antman where Cap and Falcon found Bucky in an abandoned warehouse. Based on their conversion, I guess the whole conflict between Cap and Ironman stem not only from the registration act, but also from capturing Bucky. (In the comics, Bucky killed Ironman's parents, maybe they'll go do that. It makes much more reason for Tony to go after the Winter Solider)
The "War" itself seems really personal in this way, which is really clever. Since the scope of the whole Civil War is considerably smaller than the comics, it's nice to see a more personal war. One which we can really feel the pain of these heroes going all out against each other. That scene where Tony said, "So was I" was just chilling. It shows just how established this superhero group was. And no matter how arrogant Tony Stark was, he actually saw Steve as a friend.
I can already tell this is one awesome movie, we get to see well-known characters, heroes that we've seen fight aliens together, fought an army of robots and even took out Hydra fight each other because of their conflicting causes. We see the rebel turn into the one that fights for order, and the one who fought for order turn into a rebel.
As much as this film is gonna be Superhero vs Superhero movie, it's also gonna be an emotional trip for us MCU fans. Well, hopefully.
