Haha, touché. But in all fairness, Netflix have made DD into something amazing. Heck, they should've made Daredevil season 2&3 instead of Jessica Jones And the other Defenders, lol. Coming back to Batman now, The Dark Knight Rises is #60 on imdb top 250, what the frak?!
Predestination is based on the Robert A. Heinlein short story "'—All You Zombies—'". But, since I hadn't read the book or had any clue as to what it was all about, this movie was mind-blowing for me. Amazing!
Haha, Hoover's character didn't do a lot in this movie. In fact, the dude who plays him delivers a weak performance. But it's the little things that you've read about the man; and when you finally get a glimpse of what he could do to people he hated and what he had actually done, albeit in a movie, you reach the breaking point. I mean, if he was still the director of FBI, I would've loved to join the protest to remove his ass from the office or something. But, since that isn't the case, I ranted about it here..and, I'm at peace now, lol.
I guess you forgot: Mel Gibson, Kevin Costner & Richard Attenborough. All, capable actors and Oscar winning directors. Natalie Portman has come a long way since Léon: The Professional; but I hope she doesn't decide to stay behind the camera permanently by quitting acting all together. lol. That would be a big loss for everyone.
* Just, "The Wachowskis" now. And yeah, Cloud Atlas was amazing! Decipherable chaos, unlike in Enemy(2014), which required you to use some of your brain's processing power to decipher what the hell was actually going on. lol
