Acting is the work of an actor or actress, which is a person in theatre, television, film, or any other storytelling medium who tells the story by portraying a character and, usually, speaking or singing the written text or play. [Eq: 1]
A character (or fictional character) is a person in a narrative work of art (such as a novel, play, television series or film). [Eq: 2]
So, from Equations (1) & (2), we have: An actor should personify the character, and not the other way around. Imitating someone is way too easy; pardon my insensitivity, but they should've just given Stephen hawking the Oscar; lol.
Imagine DiCaprio never getting an Oscar in his entire life, and then someone makes a biographical film on him when he's near death and the actor who plays DiCaprio in the movie getting an Oscar for that role... :? :/ WTF, right?! He imitates Leo, and gets an Award, when Leo himself busted his ass trying to bring a character to life and got jack shit.
Remember the meteoroid that Saitama punched right through? That was Kryptonite rich ;) and still remains scattered throughout his city. So, it's like being in a kryptonite boxing ring for Superman while facing the Caped Baldy. Besides, if Lex Luthor ever got wind of this battle, which he most certainly would, he'd whole heatedly give Saitama his entire Kryptonite collection. Heck, he'll even make him a kryptonite suit. Game, set and match Saitama. XD
You mean the vacuum in space where krypton used to be? Right, his genius parents couldn't protect their own planet; and now Earth is entrusted to the son of them geniuses? hahah. Saitama's Super ultra Serious punch will send Superman crying to his dead Mommy.
Lol, he does look like a power rangers bad guy! XD. Also, he says: "I've been called many names; Ra, Krishna, Yahweh. No Prophet Mohammed though ;) they're afraid the terrorists will issue a death threat & people might not come out to the movies to watch this."
Now this, is an example for an awesome poster design. It focuses on 2 guys, what the the movie is about, what their roles are; everything! Take that, the folks who designed the poster for Victor Frankenstein. Where it's 2 guys as well; who look constipated? lol and has no idea what they're supposed to do.
Uh, I thought the trailer was really awesome. Sure, they've gone with the usual formula. But if Cap gets capped in this; that'd be something else entirely. I hope not, but they do have Frank Grillo playing Crossbones. So, fingers crossed. Damn, I'm on a roll; Two puns in 2 lines. XD
Derek Vinyard – American History X (1998)
Tony Montana – Scarface (1983)
Louis Bloom – Nightcrawler (2014)
John Rambo – First Blood (1982)
Harry Callahan – Dirty Harry (1971)
Oskar Schindler – Schindler’s List (1993)
Tyler Durden – Fight Club (1999)
For me, these characters would make the list as well...
