You did not mention one thing that stood out to me the most. It was how Hitchcock uses the lonely woman as a means to distract the attention of the viewer making the viewer think that Jeffries is going on a wild goose chase focusing on thornwald (sic) while ignoring the lonely woman who is about to commit suicide. That was pure cinematic gold!
Lol when people tell me to count my blessings, the biggest blessing I count was that I wasn't born in the middle ages. Well, still a peasant but the likelihood of getting burned in a stake is much lower now. I guess count my blessings lol
I was thinking about watching it but thanks to you, I'm not so sure anymore lol. Well, if I'm in the mood to explore a new universe, I'll check this out. At least it seems worthy enough for that purpose.
